Want to find your inner Ninja? Albany Ninja Lab classes use progressions in a station-based system. Age-appropriate/specific drills with a heightened emphasis on skill and long-term athletic development will teach proper techniques for rolling, swinging, falling, etc. Every participant will be engaged and having fun, while building strength and self-confidence and finding their inner-ninja! Classes are set up in 60-minute blocks with a ratio of 8:1.


Kids classes are for ages 5+
Tiny Ninjas are for ages 2-5
Clean Sneakers Required



All coaches at The Ninja Lab are CPR certified and background screened.

Tiny Ninjas – $25.00 Drop In or 10 Class Pack for $199

Welcome Tiny Ninjas! This is the perfect way to get your little ones moving and start them with a strong ninja base. Albany Ninja Lab classes use progressions in a station-based system. Age-appropriate/specific drills with a heightened emphasis on skill and long-term athletic development will teach proper techniques. Most of this course will be taught on the floor with soft blocks and mats. Classes are set up in 45-minute blocks with a ratio of no more than 8:1. The age range for Tiny Ninjas Class is 2-5 years old. One parent will be allowed to accompany their child on the course while our coaches verbally coach you both through the obstacles – a perfect bonding exercise!

Home School Ninjas – $25 Drop In or 8 Class Pack $180

Albany Ninja Lab has the best Home School Phys. Ed option available! Give it a try! This one hour and 45 minute class and open gym combo uses progressions in a station-based system. Age-appropriate/specific drills with a heightened emphasis on skill and long-term athletic development will teach proper techniques for rolling, swinging, falling, etc.


Every participant will be engaged and having fun, while building strength and self-confidence and finding their inner-ninja! Home School Ninja will run in a 45 minute block of instruction followed by 45 minutes of Open Gym. Ratio 10:1. All Ninjas must wear clean sneakers and athletic wear. Families with 4 or more children, please call Albany Ninja Lab at 518-608-4725 for discount options.

ADULT CLASS – $27 DROP IN 

Want to be a Ninja but not sure where to start? Albany Ninja Lab classes use progressions in a station-based system that will teach proper techniques for rolling, swinging, falling, etc.


Adults will have fun while building strength! We will also be adding in some course runs to test out what has been taught! Classes are set up in 60-minute blocks, but all who attend Adult Beginner Ninja are welcome to stay for 45 minute Open Gym immediately following at no charge (Must be 14 years old.)

Parkour / fREERUNNING Class – 4 Class Pack for $90 (No Drop In)

Parkour is a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Practitioners aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible.


Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement (crawling) and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation. Freerunning takes that concept and adds Acrobatics to the mix providing new challenges and increased options for self expression and improvement. Freerunning adds Spins, Inversions Dives and Flips.


The goal of our 4 week sessions is to build upon each week prior to overcome challenges and increase self confidence and skill retention. Each 4 week session will provide progressive challenges through weeks 1-4. Multiple sessions are encouraged as the challenges will continually change throughout the year.


What to expect- 

Parkour and Freerunning involves a lot of Strength and Cardio. After students participate in a group warmup they will practice skills through the use of dynamic stations and progressions, a different obstacle course each week and challenges to suit various levels of athletes from beginner to expert. Classes will mainly take place in the Parkour section of the Albany Gym utilizing the wooden and metal structures.


Age- 6-13


No experience needed


Cancellation- If written or verbal notice is given before the start of class that a child will not be attending, then a refund for that single class can be given. If a student does not show up to class and no notice was given, the class will still be charged.


 There will not be a charge for a class when there is no class due to the Gym being closed.


Class Ratio- 8 students per 1 coach


Length- 1 hour
